Meet Our Team

Amy Baum-Jones PA-C

Amy is a native Texan who has spent most of her life in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. She earned her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Midwestern State University, where she developed a strong interest in exercise and healthy living. She went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from UT Southwestern in Dallas and has been a certified PA since 2005.

Amy brings extensive clinical experience in emergency medicine, general and bariatric surgery, and medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She has worked in dermatology since 2011 in both clinical and educational roles. Amy is committed to a holistic approach to patient care, focusing on optimizing treatment plans and helping patients feel confident in their skin.

She has held leadership positions within dermatology PA organizations and currently serves as Head of PA and NP Educational Initiatives at Dermsquared, the world’s largest dermatology education platform.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys staying active, particularly through yoga and outdoor activities, as well as traveling and wine tasting. She spends as much time as possible in the Blue Ridge Mountains with her husband of 21 years, Chris, and their dog, Gracie.
